Lazarus

The WIFEhas asked me to resurrect the blog here, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm powering through to the end of the semester and trying to fight through this sickness as well.

A month Plus

I'm sorry I haven't kept up with the blog... I Try and stuff just keeps popping up. Taco Bell is keeping me busy, and when I'm not running Beege to class, we're trying to spend time together between homework, cooking, etc.

Unfortunately, there are at least 5 people sick at work, with at least three of them having the Swine Flu. I really really am trying to take precautions (washing constantly, using the sanitizer rags to wash tables and the railings and counter area often (side effect being it cleans me hand as I wash) as well as, I think, even going to wear gloves even though I work register.

I'll update more when I think of interesting things.

Work Redux

Work's been busy... so has adjusting to going to bed at 4 or 5 again... I'm tired most days even though I've been getting between 6-8 hours of sleep... any more and I'd kill the time during the day I do have with Beege, and that's not gonna happen so I can handle being tired.

There's been lots of drama this week, and I hated 09-09-09 with a passion for the drama that happened, but hey, its a new day and things are going well so far.

Eleven Days!

Eleven days since I posted... let's see... I still haven't had a shift at work... the uniforms are having some sort of issues... I'm starting to get really annoyed.

We got through the hard strech of Summer and now with financial aid and the like, we're safe. We're set. We're Happy.

We picked up a lot of board games lately (new and used) including!!! A BEST OF GENUS 1-6 FOR TRIVIAL PURSUIT! I'm exxxxcccciiiiiitttteeedddd.

We've had are friend Sarah Bodenheim over each week for game night for about three or four weeks now, and its been awesome!

Kristy's here again, goofing around with beege before we head to Kohl's so she could pick up something and we go to see The Final Destination over at Roger's Cinema...

Going to go see my parents in Neenah on Monday, so if you want to see me, drop me a line.

Beege and I were talking about holiday stuff the other day... it'll be weird having to actually *drive* for a while to my Family's stuff...

I miss my nieces and I wanna see my Nephews (one for the first time in years, one for the first time, ever).

Ummm..... We had an awesome deal for stuff, but the guy sold for more money to his brother, beege got upset, so I got upset, called the guy up, called him a douche amongst other stuff on a voicemail... and apparently I hit on his sense of Honor enough that he called up this morning and will be selling for us for less, because we had agreed previously... so that's cool.

I, finally, got a new set of glasses and a haircut... see beegegirl.blogspot.com for pictures!!!

I'm going to drag them so we can get to the movie on time, talk to you later folks.

RPGs, Board games, and More!

I gotta say, I love roleplaying... especially on a Chat. Its so unpredictable. I log on to just... roleplay, talk, hang out, and my character is pulled into not one, but two Storylines! Wootness.

Speaking of Roleplaying games...



I WANT THIS! But I can't have it til probably about next month unless someone gifts it to me on DTRPG or IRL...

Oh well.

Playing a game of trivial Pursuit with Beege during our downtime... she's somehwo winning... I'm surprised! Though I had a few admirable streaks of questions with answering 5-10 in a row, I just couldn't do it with pie pieces... Current Score? 5 to 4.

So I can't work until I get a Taco Bell uniform, which will cost 26 dollars off my first full paycheck... but there's 30 days of training and apparently a whole mess of videos before they decide where they want me. Rumor is, they want me during the Day/Dinner rush though... so it'll be nice to work a normal schedule, and one that will let me work while Beege is working/at class.

I am kind of enjoying the ability to blog again, and to have at least two folks read it :)

Tomorrow, beege and I will be making the most of my 30 dollars from Biolife... apparently the local grocer's is having their 40th anniversery, so they're having sales on everything in the store with prices from 1969...

Don't know what else to think of right off hand so..... c'est fin

Work!

So... first off... it seems like working in Fast Food won't be as sucky/boring as I thought.... lots of cool folks at Taco Bell... laughed more during orientation tonight than I did some shifts at Wally or TRU.

The First Post

I suppose the first post should always be one like this...

I'm Patrick Riley, a Twenty-One Year Old, Out Of Work Between Semesters College Student! (WOOT GO ME!) I mean... its been hard... I work, either get layed off or quit for one reason or another, go to school a semester, and then try to pay that bastard off... and repeat the cycle.

Luckily its not just me anymore, its also my Fiancée, Beege ( Http://beegegirl.blogspot.com ) since we moved into an Apartment together back in June. We've been making it, and we have fun, but we aren't living comfortably until I get a job... Good but not Great kind of....

I'm the Baby of 5 kids, having 7 Nieces and Nephews... ranging from 12 years old to one year old... I've never seen my youngest nephew...

I'm exhausted lately just trying to find a job, or dealing with my Depression/Anxiety.... I wish I had enough money to not have to worry so much.... be able to pay all the bills easily, go out to eat here and there, watch a movie or buy a RP Book every few weeks.... thatk inda stuff....

Eh, hopefully life'll change up soon.... need a call from Taco Bell today...*Jeoparady theme*
